Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Shoot Kardo. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of shootkardo.com (the "Platform"), a marketplace that connects clients ("Clients") with freelance photographers, videographers, drone operators and editors ("Freelancers") across Pakistan. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Shoot Kardo.

<h3>1. Eligibility</h3> <p>You must be at least 18 years old to use Shoot Kardo. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.</p> <h3>2. Accounts</h3> <p>You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure, and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.</p> <h3>3. The Role of Shoot Kardo</h3> <p>Shoot Kardo is a platform that connects Clients and Freelancers. We verify Freelancer profiles before they go live, but Freelancers are independent service providers — they are not employees or agents of Shoot Kardo. We facilitate introductions, bookings, and payment handling, but the creative work itself is provided directly by the Freelancer.</p> <h3>4. Freelancer Responsibilities</h3> <p>Freelancers agree to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide accurate profile, portfolio and pricing information</li> <li>Only list work they have the right to display</li> <li>Deliver services professionally and as agreed with the Client</li> <li>Honour confirmed bookings and communicate promptly</li> </ul> <h3>5. Bookings & Payments</h3> <ul> <li>Payments are currently processed via manual bank transfer.</li> <li>When a Client books a Freelancer, the payment is held by Shoot Kardo and is only released to the Freelancer after the service is delivered and the Client confirms completion.</li> <li>Shoot Kardo currently charges 0% commission on bookings. We may introduce service fees in the future, with prior notice and updated Terms.</li> <li>Clients agree to pay the agreed amount in full to confirm a booking.</li> </ul> <h3>6. Cancellations & Refunds</h3> <ul> <li>Cancellations made at least 10 days before the scheduled shoot date are eligible for a full refund.</li> <li>Cancellations made less than 10 days before the shoot date are [non-refundable / refundable at Shoot Kardo's discretion].</li> <li>If a Freelancer fails to show up or does not deliver the agreed service, the Client is entitled to a full refund.</li> <li>Refunds are processed via bank transfer within [7] working days of approval.</li> </ul> <h3>7. Release of Payment</h3> <p>Once the Client confirms the service is complete, the held payment is released to the Freelancer. If the Client does not confirm or raise a dispute within [7] days of delivery, the payment may be released automatically to the Freelancer.</p> <h3>8. Disputes</h3> <p>If a disagreement arises between a Client and a Freelancer, Shoot Kardo will act as mediator. While a dispute is being reviewed, the relevant payment remains held. Shoot Kardo will review the situation fairly and make a final decision on release or refund. Both parties agree to cooperate and provide any information reasonably requested.</p> <h3>9. Managed Event Service</h3> <p>Clients may request that Shoot Kardo arrange and manage creatives for their event on their behalf. The scope, pricing, and arrangements for any managed service will be agreed separately and are subject to these Terms where applicable.</p> <h3>10. Prohibited Conduct</h3> <p>You agree not to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information</li> <li>Bypass the Platform to avoid agreed processes, or harass other users</li> <li>Post unlawful, offensive, or infringing content</li> <li>Misuse, copy, or attempt to disrupt the Platform</li> </ul> <p>We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.</p> <h3>11. Content & Intellectual Property</h3> <p>Freelancers retain ownership of the portfolio content they upload but grant Shoot Kardo a licence to display it on the Platform for promotional and listing purposes. Rights to delivered work between a Client and Freelancer should be agreed directly between them as part of the booking.</p> <h3>12. Limitation of Liability</h3> <p>Shoot Kardo provides the Platform "as is". We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service provided by a Freelancer, nor for any agreement made directly between users. Our role is limited to facilitating connections and handling payments as described.</p> <h3>13. Termination</h3> <p>We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or harm the Platform or its users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.</p> <h3>14. Changes to These Terms</h3> <p>We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.</p> <h3>15. Governing Law</h3> <p>These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.</p> <h3>16.
